PHOENIX HYDROSORT™ Hindered Settling Classifiers excel in a number of mineral processing roles including sharp size classification, density sorting, sand washing, and rinsing of granular solids. Precise overflow slurry density tracking and the controlled flexible addition of upward current water provides easy adjustment of the classifiers operation to meet product specifications. The classifiers cut size can be varied over a broad size range, while density sorting of light weight contaminants from sand, silica sand, and heavier minerals is accomplished. The HYDROSORT™ Classifiers consistently produce high quality spec sand from variable quality raw material and are an integral component to a plants sand processing equipment.
The PHOENIX Belt Filter Press dewaters slurries of pre-thickened solids from a pumpable liquid phase to a solid, conveyable, and stackable cake. Over 30 years ago, PHOENIX belt presses were applied for dewatering thickened tailings resulting from mineral washing processes. Today, belt press dewatering remains a preferred technology in the construction aggregate, mining, industrial and municipal markets. The PHOENIX belt filter press is available in several different configurations, each suited to the specific application. The model WX is designed for rugged industrial applications and include features such as a fully welded mainframe, oversized bearings, unique corrosion protection, and multiple compression zone configurations. The model LC is a compact model that provides a lower cost dewatering solution for smaller applications.
PHOENIX Attrition Scrubbers deagglomerate raw material and remove surface contaminants from sand and other granular materials. These Attrition Scrubbers feature a compact design, robust construction, high throughputs with efficient slurry mixing, and deliver factory assembled for ease of installation and relocation. PHOENIX Attrition Cell Scrubbers provide optimum slurry suspension and superior scrubbing. Attrition Cells may be ganged together in flexible layouts to provide the required pulp retention time.
PHOENIX HiFlo™ High Rate Thickeners clarify wash plant effluent water while thickening the slurry to 40-45% solids, greatly reducing the sludge volume going to the slurry pond. HiFlo™ High Rate Thickeners / Clarifiers provide rapid liquid-solid separation of high flow rates with optimum flocculation. For complete elimination of the slurry pond, a PHOENIX Belt Filter Press or Filter Press may be added downstream of the HiFlo™ Thickener to dewater the thickened slurry.
The PHOENIX/F&B Filter Presses dewater concentrate and tailings slurries to high solids filter cake. These ruggedly built, fully automatic filter presses offer high volume dewatering resulting in dry cake. Filter presses are available in high production capacity Overhead Beam models and smaller capacity Side Beam models.
PHOENIX/KISA Bucket Wheels capture, de-slime and dewater sand, frac sand, waste fines, specialty sands and gravel from dredging and sand processing operations. Bucket wheel dewatering equipment is designed for high solids recoveries with exceptionally low power requirements, even from dilute slurries such as dredge spoil. The dewatered solids are readily conveyable and stackable. Aggregate wash plants and industrial applications with granular slurries can obtain up to 1700+ STPH high solid handling capacity with PHOENIX/KISA bucket wheels. Bucket Wheels are available in more than a dozen sizes including standard and extended bath models.
